Winter Greetings!  I hope you are all weathering this winter well.  It certainly has been a challenging one in many parts of the country. Hopefully this newsletter can in some way brighten your day.

New Logo

First I would like to present our new, updated bee logo that began appearing on some of our labels last fall and will be phased in on the rest this spring.  We originally chose a bee carrying lavender as our logo to highlight one of our premier products, our all-natural, raw, lavender honey, produced by the honeybees kept right here on our farm.  Our honey has become a favorite of our regular customers for its delicate, tangy flavor with a light, floral aroma. Although last July's dry conditions diminished honey production, we still have both 8 oz. and 3 oz. jars available on our ecommerce page and in our shop.

Lower Shipping Prices

Another announcement is that we now have lower shipping rates on our website! This winter we are featuring a flat fee shipping rate of $8.99 per order regardless of size

Pickup at Farm

If you would rather pick up your order at our farm, you may enter the coupon code: pickup at checkout to have the shipping charge waived. Then just contact us by email ( or call 269-684-0123 so we can schedule a time when you may pick up your order.

Aromatherapy Room Spray Recipe

Finally, I would like to share an easy but effective aromatherapy room spray recipe for those of you who have some of our lavender essential oil on hand.  This recipe is enough for a 2 oz. spray bottle.

Mix 0.5 oz. vodka, 1.5 ml lavender essential oil (about 1/4 of our 6 ml essential oil bottle, or approximately 50 drops) and 1.5 oz. water, or preferably our distilled lavender water if you have some.

Put this blend into a spray bottle, shake and spray!  The alcohol acts as an emulsifier dispersing the oil in the water temporarily.  Shake before each time you spray.  This spray will really scent a room and the scent will linger for some time.  It's a nice way to give you and your family a lift on a dreary winter day! (Note: avoid spraying directly at peoples faces, especially the eyes, or getting it on wood finishes).

Enjoy, and dream of warmer weather!
