2010 Lavender Harvest & U-Pick Days:

Monday June 21- Saturday July 10 (excluding Sundays)  9 am-2 pm

2 oz Vodka

1 1/3 oz Triple Sec

1 1/3 oz unsweetened Cherry juice

Juice of 1 small lime

1 drop ‘Super” lavandin essential oil

Lemon twist

Crushed ice

Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender if available

The lavandin oil pairs well with the lemon twist to give a slightly bitter finish to this refreshing aromatic drink.

We make a variety of fine lavender products on our farm. Our products use only pure essential oils for an all-natural fragrance experience. Our products may be purchased at our farm shop or at the markets and shows we attend. Please see our events calendar for scheduled open hours, shows and markets. Not all of our products will be available at the farmers markets.

6-18-10 New Product Update: Come to our expanded on-farm shop to find our enlarged product selection!  Our original soap recipe now comes in 5 essential oil scent blends including: Lavender, Lavender-lemongrass, Citrus-lavender-mint, Lavender-geranium, and Evergreen.  Now find other products in those same scents such as Hand Sanitizer, and Kitchen & Bathroom Cleaning and Air Freshening Sprays.

Our hand sanitizer contains aloe, vitamin E, and glycerin making it less drying than most sanitizers. It comes in small spray tubes ($2.75 ea.) that are refillable with our 4 oz. bottles ($4.50 ea.). 

We now have lavender and lavender-lemongrass shower gel! An 8 oz bottle is only $6.50. Get the great smell of our original lavender-lemongrass soap in a convenient gel!  If you love that smell as much as I do, you'll also want to try our lavender-lemongrass kitchen and bathroom spray. It's a counter and sink cleaner and air freshener in one!

Distilled Products:

	Lavender Essential Oil: Lavendin oil distilled from our own 'Super' lavendin flowers.    $12.50 per 6 ml dropper bottle supplies are limited! Try it in drinks such as Lavender Lemonade.  A little goes a long way!
	Distilled Lavender Water: Fragrant water from distillation of  our own 'Super' lavendin flowers. $10 per 8 oz. spray bottle $4.50 per 2 oz spray bottle

Bath & Body Products:

	Lavender Honey Lip Balm: Very smooth and tasty! Contains: coconut oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil, beeswax,  glycerin, lavender essential oil.  $3.50 per 1/3 oz. tin
	Lavender Soap: Our original rich-lathering soap.  Contains: Saponified olive oil canola oil, coconut oil; essential oil of lavender, stearic acid (from palm oil). Other scents available include lavender-lemongrass, lavender-geranium, lavender-citrus-mint and lavender-evergreen. $4.00 per bar
	Lavender Shea Butter Lip Balm: Smooth, creamy formula similar to our body balm.  Contains: coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, vitamin E, essential oil of lavender. $3 per 0.15 oz. tube
	Lavender-Lemongrass  Body Balm: Softens and moisturizes the the whole body!  Contains: coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, vitamin E, essential oil of lavender. $5.50 per 1.7 oz. tin $9.50 per 3.5 oz. tin

	Lavender Eye Pillow A very popular item for relaxation.  Contains flaxseed and lavender in just the right proportion for weight and scent. Dupioni silk case. $10 ea., various colors.
	Three Bags of Lavender A small, simple and durable sachet that may be used for many purposes: stuff in shoes, hang in closets & drawers, tie securely and use in the clothes dryer to scent your laundry.  $4.00 for bundle of 3 bags, each containing appprox. 1/3 cup lavender buds.

Make 2 quarts Country Time^© Lemonade.

Add 5 or so drops of Lavender Essential Oil (to taste), from a known good quality source such as www.thelavenderhill.com.

Stir vigorously.

Pour over ice or add ice to the pitcher.

Note: Stirring before pouring each glass is a good idea.

From Chicago: Take the Indiana Tollroad (I-80/90) east to exit 72 (US 31 North).  Go north to exit 5 in Michigan. Follow directions below (From US 31).

Alternate Route from Chicago: Take I-94 to U.S. 12 east in Michigan.  Drive east on U.S. 12 approx. 30 miles and get on U.S. 31 north.  Get off on the next exit north of U.S. 12 (exit 5, Niles-Buchanan Rd.).  Follow directions below (From U.S. 31).

FROM US 31: From US 31 take exit 5 in Michigan (Niles-Buchanan Road) go east about 1/4 mile and take the first left (Morris Drive). Going north on Morris, the farm is on the right (east) side of the road 3/4 mile north of Niles-Buchanan Road.  Our Farm is located between Platt Street and Harrah Road.  Turn in at 1219 Morris. To find our shop, stay left and drive around the back of the house.  Entrance is at the glass doors at the rear of the house.

From South Bend:  From South Bend, come north on Indiana 933 to US 12. Take US 12 west to US 31 north. Follow directions "from US 31" below.  Alternatively, take Indiana 933 into Niles.  Turn left onto Main Street and proceed west to 2nd Street. Turn left on 2nd street. Turn right at Broadway Street and follow directions "From Downtown Niles" below.

FROM DOWNTOWN NILES:  Cross the St. Joseph River at Broadway Street (2 blocks south of Main Street).  Continue West on Broadway approximately 2.2 miles. The street name will change to Grant Street west of the river and then to Niles-Buchanan Road outside the city limits.  When you see Laughing Place Stables on the left, turn right on Morris Drive. Morris Drive is the last road on the right before you come to the US 31 interchange.  Proceed north on Morris Drive 3/4 miles. Turn in at 1219 Morris. To find our shop, stay left and drive around the back of the house. Entrance is at glass doors at rear of house.

Note about Location:   Our address (1219), is shown incorrectly on many computer mapping programs including google maps and mapquest.  If you search for 788 Morris Dr. with those programs the map will show our actual location, though the number on our farm mailbox & signpost is 1219. 

Note about Shop/Farm Hours: Please be sure we are open or that you have made an appointment (call 269-684-4305, 269-684-0123) before coming.  We have limited hours in the non-lavender season. Please check the "Events Calendar" on this web site for open hours and events. Assume the shop is not open if no hours are posted on a particular day.
